is it possible to have a busy & relaxing weekend? we did have both actually! My Grandma arrived on Friday night and we were off and running on Saturday to attend a Baptism for my cousin Delaney. It was very nice and we had lunch at their house afterward. We had a nice visit and we all came home for naps a little later than usual. All the adults went to Dinner that night at a fun Mexican place. It was nice to have adult conversation with friends & relatives! Sunday we had Dinner at our house for my Aunt & Uncle, who were watching one of Ava's favorite people, "Berkie" (their granddaughter). Ava LOVES Berkie and also loved being her little Boss. I was surprised to see that come out in my little girl. I didn't think she had it in her?! Don't worry Jill...it was in a nice, 'come play with me NOW kind of way! :) Berkley is so mild mannered and sweet, she has the perfect temperament for Ava and they play really well together. On Monday we just played and relaxed. The sun was finally out and so we played in the pool and Ava was in heaven.
Here are a few pics from our weekend. I really didn't get as many photos as I would have liked but that's how it goes!
Ava is one spoiled girl. This is my Grandma who made this quilt that I posted about earlier. Ava had Grandma doing everything she wanted...books, playing blocks & chasing all over the house. After they left yesterday I took Ava up for her afternoon nap, as we are walking up the stairs she says " ni-night gabba....luh you". We are so lucky!!!
OK that is so funny that Ava bossed her around. i totally dont care...dont worry. Berkeley is totally going to be the laid back kid that the other kids tell her what to do. Im sad I missed the whole weekend...it looked fun! We need to get them together more often because they are really cute together!!!
