I'm trying very hard not to compare my children to each other but as we are experiencing some things for the first time with Bailey, it's hard not to! I never let Ava here me so don't worry! Bailey had her 1 month check up yesterday and she is actually on the growth charts!!! She weighed in at 7lbs. 13.5oz. I was so excited I could hardly stand it! Each of my girls have their own set of challenges but growth will not be one of Bailey's! She is such a good baby and developing some good habits. She eats well, sleeps well and is handling the constant touching from an excited 3 year old very well.
Last week Ava wanted to share some of her things with Bailey. A picture of herself and a card with the letter B. Very sweet!
And yesterday I took the girls to the mall to make sure I had their Easter dresses. Ava wanted some new sunglasses....she was so proud (and so cute!).
I think one of the things I'm most looking forward to is watching Bailey respond to Ava. As Bailey grows I can just imagine what she will think of the crazy fun personality her sister has. I can't wait!
you will compare...you will ALWAYS compare. that is what we do. as long as it's not negetive it's helpful. sometimes we just neeed to think..."tristan used to do that ALLLLLLL the time" or "oh crap none of the other kids did that what the heck is wrong with this baby" see what i mean, NORMAL! you are normal. i can't wait to squeeze your bailey a little. i wanted to come by soon after you got her but there has been so bad stuff floating around this place. we're all better so watch out, here i come! :)

thanks again for having us all at your house. I can't wait to do it again, I had so much fun. Thanks for entertaining my kids too, they had a great time. Ava cracks me up. She is such a clown and I'm sure will always be great entertainment for her sister. It will come in handy when you want to get stuff done, like taking a shower!! Something we take for granted until we have kids.
