This year I took on a project that I've been thinking about for years. When we first moved to AZ we met this family in our Ward and there were 9 kids! Turns out, this woman was my new Visiting Teacher and when it was getting close to Christmas I asked her how in the world she wrapped presents for 9 kids?!?! She said that she didn't.....years prior she had sewed up a bunch of different sized bags and Santa just tied different ribbon around the bags for each children and then left a note on the tree of who had what ribbon. BRILLIANT!!! I loved the idea but never really did anything about it. Well, this was our year! Santa left me a note from our Elf Bernard (a story I will tell later) and asked me to make a bunch of bags so he could leave our presents in them! I decided I was equal to the task so off to the fabric store I went. I had tons of coupons so I spent about as much money as I would have in paper, tape, tags, etc.! While my Mom and Sister were visiting I had my Mom help me cut out different sizes then I went to work each night sewing them together. It only took 3 nights and one afternoon. And then on Christmas Eve, I'm pretty sure it only took Santa about 30 minutes to fill all of the bags and tie the ribbons! I'm excited about a new tradition and can't wait until these bags get old and I can pass them on to the girls for their families!
turned out so cute! I am so happy you finished them this year :)

BRILLIANT! I just may have to copy the idea! That would be a great gift for someone as well!
